How many sessions?
How many sessions each client needs depends on their goal(s), the time and energy they put into implementing their plans and of course their commitment.
In cases of smaller and already clearly defined goals, one coaching session can be enough to develop a clear action plan. In general, however, for new thought and behaviour patterns to become established, the time between sessions is as essential as the coaching session itself. During this time, both the conscious and the subconscious mind continue to work on what has been discussed and the client puts their new ideas into practice.
Many clients like to have an intensive course of 3-4 sessions to identify the precise outcome and develop a realistic and sustainable action plan. After that, many clients decide to continue the coaching process in order to strengthen their motivation and commitment to ensure results or to work on specific sub-goals.
When and where?
While some clients find weekly sessions the most effective way to get fast results, others prefer less frequent sessions to monitor long-term goals.
Some clients choose to have ongoing support to maintain motivation, keep on track and to navigate through unexpected changes.
Coaching always works best face to face, although some parts of the process can be done by telephone or email.
Face-to-face sessions will be held in beautiful practice rooms in the centre of Salisbury.
Many professionals prefer to have coaching at their place of work, but recently, more and more clients prefer the convenience of being coached via a videocall.
Both in person and online meetings work very well, as long as interruptions and external distractions can be avoided.
